About AD&VIP
We are seeking AD&VIP’s who will make an exceptional contribution to our team! As an Intern, you will be a member of a thriving team dedicated to finding solutions in sustainable architecture and interior design, enhancing people’s experience of the world and improving their lives.
From culture activities, sketching & site visits to assisting in the creation of true-to-scale models & 3D printing, you’ll be a part of an integrated team that values the importance of design and whose skills, artistry, commitment to social responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work together set us apart from the rest.
Semester Internship Program
Our semester internship program is set for an initial period of three months, with the possibility of extending it for an additional three months. Thus, the maximum internship duration is six months.
Summer Internship Program
Our summer internship program is available for up to 8 weeks.

Our Internship Program provides unique experiences during both the semester and summer terms. These exceptional opportunities are exclusively hosted at our corporate headquarters in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Spring Semester | February to May
Application period opens in October.

Eligibility
This is a unique opportunity for college students in their third or fourth year of undergraduate programs or currently pursuing their graduate programs who want to gain exposure to how AD&V® helps shape the architecture and design industry. This program is open to students currently enrolled in an accredited institution for a minimum of six semesters who have shown outstanding design performance, with special consideration being given to academic achievement. Architecture students shall be registered for NCARB’s AXP program to qualify for the hours of practice.
We are looking for team players with a positive attitude who are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to take on any challenge, big or small.

Technical Skills
Mechanical and Technical Aptitude
Hand Drafting
CAD Knowledge (Basic Required)
Proficiency in 3D Modeling and Rendering Software (e.g., SketchUp, Lumion)
Revit Knowledge (Preferred)
Experience with 3D Modeling, 3D Printing, and Laser Cutting
MS Office
Graphic Design Software (e.g., Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
Communication and Mindset

Puerto Rico’s Fair Internship Law (Law No. 114-2022)
In compliance with Puerto Rico’s Fair Internship Law (Law No. 114-2022), our AD&VIP Internship Programs offer a minimum duration of 10 hours per week. Each intern will be assigned a direct supervisor to guide them throughout the program. We will conduct evaluations at both the midpoint and the end of the internship to ensure ongoing feedback and development. Additionally, a record of educational activities will be maintained to track the intern's learning and progress.
